To drive E-Commerce proposition for licensed cartoon merchandise

Aim:
Generate consumer revenues from cartoons through licensed deals

What I did:
I established a truly commerce-led framework to license a portfolio of Matt cartoons used in The newspaper and online. This was set up with a mix of licensed card ranges, product licensing for kitchen items (like aprons, tea towels, mugs and coasters) sold via third party contractors proficient at production and onward distribution.

I managed all Initial research into partner choice, distribution scope and product prototyping. Decision process was also internal stakeholder management on design, branding sign-off and ongoing contractual obligations on new product launches and promotional marketing.

Once the range was launched I successfully liaised on the merchandise being monetised via the online shop delivering e-Commerce revenues. The merchandise and also able to be leveraged for subscriber incentives and gifts for key clients.

Results:
Critical acclaim for licensed card range
(including retail award), direct revenue and fantastic
tie-in to the Matt books range.
