To project manage digital integration and commercials for Royalty Free image portfolio into Adobe “Bridge” software.
Aim:
To Manage Adobe 'Photo Bridge' Creative Suite partnership integration [with Digital Vision]
What I did:
As Commercial Director with Digital Vision (now part of the Getty Images royalty free portfolio), we led an unprecedented initiative to fuse royalty free images from the Digital Vision collection with the creative process to ensure a seamless workflow for creative directors and designers to remain in Creative Suite Adobe software environment whilst sourcing visuals for their work, rather than sourcing photography from around the web incurring separate licenses and e-Commerce processes.
As the key senior relationship manager with Adobe Executive team, I project managed the commercial and technical workflow to deliver an effective content integration to deadline. All IP,Rights and release data for the assets had to be managed to ensure best practice was adhered to. I was tasked with leading the commercial negotiations, contract, SLA's and technical requirements for on-boarding. On completion of the project, I worked with Communications and external PR to agree the launch communications for trade and consumer audiences.
This industry-first integration of Digital Vision royalty free stock photography into Adobe Creative Suite 5 'Bridge', led to a much deeper development as Adobe kicked off Adobe Stock
Results:
The deal resulted in diversifying revenue streams for Digital Vision, opening up a new business opportunity for other agencies spring-boarding off our start-up and added longevity to a business losing some value as Royalty Free evolved to a lower unit price via the growth of (cheaper) micro-stock.
